POLICE IMPUNITY IN ONDO CITY


Various atrocities have rocked the city of ondo in the past, but the present issue And talk of the town is police impunity and illegalities. Extorting money from both the young and old in disguise as arrest has become rampage And also becoming addictive to ondo city police chapter and the so called SARS. A normal hard working youth can't afford to walk freely on the road due to the fear of of been accused as a fraudsters or "YAHOO BOY", Am not saying the police force should not do their work, but it should be done accordingly and no one should be deprive the freedom of movement in the name of eradicating fraudsters. If the police notice someone doing some illegal activities, lodge your investigation and also gather some evidenve, be sure of the charges and arresr whoever is involved and the offenders , and not the baseless arrest and accusations going on in the city, football lovers cannot watch their favorite team again in order to avoid illegal raiding, turning the SUNSHINE STATE to DESERT STATE. Am speaking on behalf the entire youth of ondo city we say we are YOUNG AND LEGIT! and also NO TO IMPUNITY!, we have our right and we will soon stand against you!!!!

The Registrar and Chief Executive of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, on Friday dismissed the speculation of a stalemate in the admission of fresh students into universities across the country. Oloyede, who spoke during an interview with journalists shortly after a visit to the zonal office of the board in Benin, the Edo State capital, insisted that all universities have been barred from conducting written examinations before admitting students. He also denied the alleged imposition of prospective students on universities, adding that issues over the admission of fresh students into tertiary institutions had been resolved after due consultations with all stakeholders.
