Behind The Scene: Captain America Civil War Parts Shot in 'Lagos' (Photos)

Captain America: Civil War series which has been shot on locations in Germany, Puerto Rico, and Iceland has created an artificial scene to depict Lagos, Nigeria.   The movie being shot Leaked photos show Captain America in his costume being surrounded by people in what looks like an Obalende or an Ojuelegba parts of Lagos, complete with the yellow danfo buses and the heavy foot traffic. However, all of that was shot in Atlanta with special effects and African-American actors. One wonders if the depiction of Lagos, Nigeria will be the stereotypical Hollywood story of suffering or it will be the true tale of hustle and flow. Meanwhile, here are on some set photos. Diego Costa blasts Antonio Conte, Chelsea: 'I'm not a criminal!'

Diego Costa has accused Chelsea of treating him like a "criminal" this summer, and revealed that he has lost all respect for Antonio Conte as a person over the Italian's handling of the situation. Chelsea began their Premier League title defence with a shock  3-2 defeat  against Burnley at Stamford Bridge on Saturday in the absence of their top scorer last season, who has remained in his home town of Lagarto in Brazil while the battle to resolve his future drags on. Conte  sent Costa a text message  in June stating that the striker was not in his plans for the new campaign -- an act that complicated Chelsea's summer transfer strategy and infuriated the Spain international, who is adamant that he will only sanction a move back to Atletico Madrid. Ricardo Cardoso, Costa's lawyer, has  pledged to "activate all the legal mechanisms"  to force Chelsea to sell his client, and the Premier League champions have been reluctant to discuss the matter publicl...

ASUU begins indefinite strike

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU on Sunday declared a nationwide strike action to commence the same day – Sunday August 13 2017. The Union took the decision to declare the strike after deliberations at its National Executive Council, NEC meeting held at University of Abuja on August 12 2017, ASUU National President,  Comrade Biodun Ogunyemi said. Ogunyemi in a document titled, “Strike Bulletin No.1”, the strike action is to be a total, comprehensive and indefinite action whereby no form of academic activities including teaching, attendance of any meeting, conduct and supervision of any examination at any level, supervision of project or thesis at any level should take place at any of the nation’s universities. In the bulletin signed by Ogunyemi,  ASUU recalled that it had to embark on a six month strike between July and December 2013 and the strike was suspended when government signed an MoU with the union. “Of all the items contained in the MoU, only th...
